Timing Bands are based on historical time periods in which previous cycles have topped and bottomed. The green band is for cycle tops; the red band for cycle bottoms. When used in current-time the green timing band will forecast the approximate time period in which the next trading cycle top should occur, and it will also forecast the bottoming time period for that same cycle in the red timing band…Plotted historically, you can see how the tops tend to occur within the green timing bands and the bottoms tend to occur within the red timing bands. Plotting the bands on the chart is simple. Simply enter the date of the low. You can put the same date in for as many timing bands you want to plot across the bottom of the chart.
